There is actually quite a bit you can do between events.
Wealth Levels - A character needs to pay upkeep between events to prevent themselves from starving. Paying double, triple, or four times the base cost can also grant a character temporary bonuses.
0 Resources - Starving!
3 Food 2 Supplies 1 Cloth - Not Starving!
6 Food 4 Supplies 2 Cloth - Pick one of the following...
Skills - Certain skills only work between games. Such as Research, Investigation, Slander, Plague/Abundence, and the ability for characters with the Upkeep Magic Items skill to break Mystic down into Magic Components.
Hero Point Voting - Each Player is allowed to vote for other players in three seperate categories. The categories are 'Who played their character the best?', 'Who had the most intense role-playing scene?', and 'Who had the most impressive fighting skills?'. At the beginning of the following event, the GMs hand these out the appropriate players.
Upkeep - Items, Military, and Territories all require upkeep that must be paid between events. Most characters will only need to worry about Item upkeep. The consequences of not upkeeping these usually means that the character loses them, so remember to upkeep!
Military and Territories - Neither of these two require a skill to utilize, but both require interaction from the character. A character can own multiple 'militaries' and multiple 'territories'. For each and every group the character owns, she will need to invest resources, money, and time to grow it as well as to use it to do other things through out the game. Military can be used to protect lands and people as well as attack and a myriad of other options. Territories can produce resources as well as produce NPCs and other plot hooks.
Buildings - A craftsman can build buildings between events. There are a few different types of buildings including storehouses, PC buildings to protect them from outside incursions, and NPC buildings to protect them as well.
...and Lastly...
In-Between Events - This represents what the character is doing between the events if it is relavent. It is used to let the GM know what you are attempting with the few weeks or months from one event to the next. If your character is wandering the desert looking for a pathway to the other side, helping the local hospital, or rebuilding the Fishing Village let us know. Each and every thing you do affects the world around you, and gives the GMs the opportunity to use what you did for plot hooks as well as NPC interactions.
Well, I think that covers most of it. Am I missing anything?

Ok, I think we can do that.
So you want a set of armor that is superior to the rest of the game, but falls off as soon as someone punches it? Or maybe a suit of armor thats only usable effect through-out the entire event is protecting someone else? Or maybe you mean you want the broken bits of armor that you fix slowly and off-stage while you have three dozen usable suits sitting at home? Or maybe you want a suit of armor that hits you in the balls whenever you try to wear it? Oh! I like that one... Should I take volunteers from the PC base? *wink*

Re: Deadline for In-Between Events April 2013
The deadline is good to hear Jared. I will try to get everything I can think of our this weekend. It's especially hard, though, seeing as things that can improve my standing with the people of Haven, and even coax NPCs' to maybe come talk to me, will be largely inapplicable during the next event if we are to be somewhere else than Haven like we were in Gateway. (Grrrr)
I may even be changing my research, as it would apply to a plot puzzle we found in Haven, which means if this year is all "out of town" games, won't matter until next season.

Will I be seeing resolution on any of the year old list I gave Chris after game break, BEFORE I have to guess at what I should be doing between last event and the next?
