Forgotten no more

From the back of the tavern a party of rowdy dwarves, well into their cups, sing of a tale, a new legend, they sing of a boastful tale of King Vaal, and his champions....

Before the kingdom was whole again
our histories and heroes were lost to the winds
Scattered like sparks from The Smiths great anvil
Such was the fate of Clan Hammerfall
Lost no longer thanks to the champions and King Vaal

Late was the hour
When a voice boomed to Vaal
“Theres no more ale, no lager, no port or stout,
Yer men drank The Traveler dry,
Gather your axes and hammers, and get out.”

Outside on the trail
The breeze made a promise,
Of battle, and grudge never settled
Vaal called for halt
Loosed his scout
Nose to the wind the beastman howls

A ruined keep the wind revealed
Ghosts and shades
The companions steel and magic at the ready
Met a vision, Shouting for dwarves to stand steady
So few that stood against an army of betrayers
Before Vaal, fought ancient men of honor
Phantom warriors remembered only by the land
Fighting and dying to the last man

King Vaal did weep
Before him he saw what it means
To be a child of the Smith
For clan, duty and honor
To stand no matter the risk

Tears in his eyes, to his captains turned Vaal
He called for pyres and to build em tall.
Laid to rest proper were the fallen of Clan Hammerfall
Leaving the ruins, the living left runes above the gateway door
Three words, all that was needed
“Forgotten No More”

Rothek watched the dwarves as they recounted their tale. He knew dwarves were rowdy in nature so he just laid in his spot by the stair case, watching to make sure they didn't get too. Rowdy. There were other patrons after all.

However he did let loose a howl much similar to the one he had that night, when he fought along side the hammerfall.
