Road to Woodhold

Serith strolls through the small tract of land, that has fallen to him to protect, he has plenty of other Havenites to help, none more important than his friend and brother, Gabrial. Ever since the Lady Hope was able to lift his stasis, Gabrial has wasted little time in reestablishing his care and compassion for the folks in Woodhaven. The two have been looking to seek an Audience with Roderick, to finally achieve the sovereignty that they have worked for.
Serith pauses at a couple of the small quaint homes, visiting families that have helped in building Woodhaven into what it is. Serith smirks at the thought of hearing someone call him a Lord, and he quickly corrects them that he is nothing more than themselves, just a citizen of Woodhaven.
Through his travels, Serith starts to contemplate just how different his path has come, not long ago his only motivation was revenge, making sure that his "Father" Torval would pay for his crimes, but now here he was, overseeing the production of food, and cloth that was needed for the populace. The only thing that didn't feel foreign to him was his feeling of the need for him to provide protection for the good people of Woodhaven. Even with this familiar role, it was even different, because not only did it include combat, but now making sure that his friends were fully cared for with food, shelter, and medicines they need.
Serith thinks to himself that it is indeed strange how ones path can change with just one choice made...
