When a character's life points reach zero and below, they become incapacitated; they can talk but cannot move or perform any actions.
So at neg 100 life I can be screaming for a healer?
For some reason I thought previously at zero you could talk and such, but less than 0 you were out and unconscious unless you had a skill that said otherwise.

you used to be unconcious.. That has not been the case for about 2 years or more..
Now you never lose conciousness from being at Zero life or worse.
At Zero life you may still talk.. it does not say you can scream..
At Less than Zero life Death and Dying states you may only talk in a low whisper..
Basically this was changed so that not just warriors could have a last talk with their friends as they passed away.

I dunno.. a battlefield full of people screaming in pain and torment as the life drains out of them gives me a warm and fuzzly feeling.

Determination means you can talk normally right? Or does it just allow you to crawl away? (If this is the case the skill should be reworded and remove to talking part cause it makes it sound like only people with that skill can do it)

Without determination you are still conscious at below zero, but immobile "from shock".
Determination lets you crawl around leaving a nice trail of blood and a rope of intestines behind you.
