After the breakfast dishes have been done, there is quite a bit of commotion in Esmerelda's room. After a while she emerges with her backpack quite full and sets it in the kitchen. She then makes another trip and comes out with what looks like a roll of bedding and clothing.

Looking around the common room, she asks, "Is there anyone willing to help me carry my things up to the House of Chance?"

I can help. I didn't know you and Ingram planned on getting hitched so soon. Or do you just plan on shacking up together. People do say there's a certain kind of tension between you two.

*Grabs the smallest thing he can find*

*Azra approaches Esmerelda, taking hold of some of her things*

I'll help!

*At Zeira's comment, her eyes widen*

Esmerelda, you're getting married? That is wonderful news! I noticed something between the two of you, but that it would end in marriage was the last thing to cross my mind.

Esmerelda glares at Zeira and then blushes furiously.

"No, Azra, Ingram and I are NOT getting married. At least, not that I know of!" she attempts to laugh the comment off.

"I am moving to the House of Chance for other reasons, among which to show the people here that I'm not going to be murdered or disappear if I take up residence there.

"As for Ingram and I," she shrugs," at the moment there is nothing more than friendship between us. I knwo you all llike to joke about my 'suitors' but I only have one offical one that I know of. Thank you both in your assistance with helping me move my things."

*Sitting over in the chair that nearly has become his customary spot, right next to the kitchen, ever vigilantly guarding Havens most prized possesion...The BACON Cake Serith looks up at the announcement of Esmerelda

"Well that is interesting, and what did your bunk mate have to say about this move? Cause im certain that he isnt going to be accompaning you.."

*A look of seriousness crosses his features

"And what do you mean....At the Moment?"

A look of sadness crosses Esmerelda's face at the mention of her bunk mate. "What does he think? I don't know. He's not here. As usual. I guess I'll find out when he gets back into town, whenever that is. Seeing as he never shares his plans with me, that would be hard to say when."

"I didn't mean anything by saying at the moment. At the moment there is nothing more than friendship between Ingram and myself. The rest of you are the ones who seem bent on putting a romantic spin to our relationship."

*smiles

"You already know my thoughts on that..."

*looks back to being serious

"So nothing has been heard from him since he was gone? Is there anything you need me to do? I am quite apt at tracking."

She sighs at his smiling comment. When he mentions help a sad smile crosses her face.

"No, I haven't heard from him. But he'll come back when he is ready. I don't want to send someone after him. Besides, if he doesn't want to be found, no one will find him. But I do appreciate the offer."

Noticing his post, she adds, "And don't worry, I'll still be here every morning to make your breakfast."

*Azra ponders the words exchanged between Serith and Esmerelda for a moment*

Esmerelda, I think you're making a noble decision. We already realized with some of these past encounters that we work better united than apart, and your staying in the House of Chance, whether temporary or not, will have a major impact.

*Grins, as her last words are spoken in a much lighter tone*

And, if there's still breakfast involved, it's a win-win situation.

Esmerelda returns Azra's grin.

"Thank you. Just because I'm sleeping there doesn't mean that I'm forever banned from coming back here! I'm the tavern's cook and I wouldn't change that for anything. I think if I'd told Korrigan I wasn't cooking anymore I'd be locked in my room here and only let our at mealtimes!"

*Those in the Inn can hear Korrigan shout "Damn straight I'd lock you in!" from his chair outside the front door.*

*Serith laughs at Korrigan's remark from outside

"Your not the only one!"

*Turns to Esmerelda and Azra

"I have no issues with you moving, just caught me off guard, and also made me wonder about what another would think of it is all..."

*To Azra

"Believe me, I know.....really well that we have to work together, remember the whole bunny thing? Yeah, I kinda have that whole aspect ingrained into my skull....I couldnt get that lesson out of my head if I wanted to."

Rhul walks up to Esmerelda, a book cradled in his hand. He grunts and nods in affirmation at Seriths comment about 'bunnies".


So you're moving to the house of chance are you?

(he cocks an eyebrow)

Is there anything I can do to help? Perhaps any large objects upon which I can demonstrate a reassuring but quaint example of male masculinity by lifting for you?

*An non-descript elf walks into the tavern looking extremely cold and haggard with a black cloak tightly wrapped around his body and covering most of his face. He looks around a bit and his eyes land on the things packed up*

Someone going somewhere?

*Looks over to the new "Elf" with a bit of....dislike

"Seems to be, and you would be?"
