Joe and I were discussing the money system on the way home.

We love it.


We discussed how cool it would be if you could BUY money at 1 equipment point per silver max of ten at character creation, but weren't allowed to buy resources directly.

Why?
1 it would keep the newbies from having to learn 2 systems off the bat.

2. it would take phantom resources out of play.

3. It would make interaction with npcs and pc's more interesting right off the bat.

just an idea.

Thats a good idea. I'll have to look at the chart. The amount of starting cash will have to be a product of the current cost of goods.

we thought 1 gold would be cool, since you could then buy what you wanted and so forth.

Based on the starting equipment chart, I would go with 6 points for x copper (x being the current cost of PC upkeep).
