The portal flashes to light. Nebulous and thick. From the flickering abyss steps a man. He is of medium height and bland features. He is dressed is black clothing and carries a satchel over his shoulder that is nearly over flowing with scrolls and parchment. He has on old glasses, obvious milled before the end times. His hair is messed and his hands stained with ink on the forearms, clearly from falling asleep on wet paper.

“Excuse me, Is this Haven?” The man asks in a voice tinged with curiosity.

*Laura looks at this man and think that she reconizes him.
"Simon is that you??"

He pushes the glasses up onto the bridge of his nose. The thick, wire frames straining under the weight of glass.

"Ahh Yes. It is Simon. I'm looking for Egon. He invited to come to the academy, and I thought, well since my work was destroyed, that I would take him up on his offer. I don't suppose I've come at a bad time?" Simon says.

*With a welcoming smile

"It is great to see you again. Welcome to Haven. I am not sure where Egon might be but i am sure he will be happy to see you as well. IF there is anything i can do for you please let me know."

the Lady is standing in silints next to a tree.

*Laura speaks to Simon
"I hope that you have fun at the academy. I am actually on my way back to winter haven. Please be safe."
*Laura give a look around and walk through the portal!

"Lady rosemund, I don't suppose you could show me to the academy?" Simon asks.

Well i was not where the academy is but if you talk to ug. he can help you.

Coming through the forest is a glowing red ash in the hand of a large dark figure, as Shale comes into view and casually raises a hand. "Hello stranger. Did I hear you are looking for the Academy? Allow me an introduction, I am Shale Bazenstoke founder of the Basenstoke Academy and current head of the House of Rising Sun."

Looking around with one eye brown arched Lady Rosamund waits to see who Shale is talking to.

::Shale is talking to Simon.::

Simon:

"Ahh. I am looking for Egon. He invited me to this place to have a look at the academy's archives. He was most generous. My name is Simon. "

Shale offers a hand and says, "Glad to meet you Simon. Egon can be hard to track down as of late. I remember seeing him in the vacinity of the inn not long ago. That is where most people of Haven gather. The academy's archives are as of yet a bit lax. We have been seeking out books of knowlege and materials to teach, but as of yet we have no buildings to store and teach the materials. But I suppose you should speak to him rather than me."

Shale bows to the Lady. "Do you wish to accompany us? Seeing as you were here with Simon before I arrived."

I would love to come with you all I am going to bring Ah'Jwell here with us if that is alright.

"I have no objections." he replied as he then walked in the direction of the Firepit.
