In the cold of a winter morning the town is woken by a loud craking noise. It is the sound of ice crashing into itself and craking under the great pressure. As the sun rise and strikes the Hall of the Creasent Moon a dim blue light shines and the walls start to make the craking sound. As the light travels down the walls the blue intestifies and the noise grows louder.
Arthos run from the dirt Hall with a sword and shield looking all about for an attack. He drops the sword and shield to the ground as his gaze fixes onto the Hall of the Creasent moon.
As the sun rise the dirt walls of the hall slowly change to stone. By the time the sun rises fully the the blue glow fads and the dirt walls that where and now back to normal as stone.

*Running over to where all the noise and all is coming from, Kidwynn has her shortswords out and looks over at Arthos.*

Sen steps forth from the Inn's kitchen. Steam flows from the door jam, and rises from his skin. Quote, the largest of the Raven, sits upon his shoulder. His hands and apron are covered in thick white powder. He smells of butter cream and cinnamon.
“What is going on out here?” Sen asks quietly. He shivers against the cold cold wind and Quote squawks uncontrollably.

Amagus steps from the Inn, supported by his cane. His eyes glitter with excitement as he watches the structures transformation.
“Could this be the end of an old spell that has run its course, or evidence of a counter spell? Heh, heh. Conversion to stone, eh? Useful both in creation and destruction.”
Shouts at the others present. “Don’t just stand there gaping! Search the land! A caster with unknown intentions may be hiding nearby!”
He then shouts louder to no one in general. “Mages of Thunder, attend! Activated Magic is at hand!”

*Kidwynn looks at the stranger irritated, but still flashing that mischievous pirate grin.*

*She looks at Arthos*
Unless you offer me an explination since you got here first Arthos, I'm goin' scoutin' to see what tracks and all I can find around here of some man..or whatever in the high seas decided to wake some of us up from a perfectly good dream.

*Arthos picks up his sword and shield and grins*
Well, I was working in the hall this morning and I started to see a blue light engulfing the walls and the horbile cracking sound. I ran out as quick as I could and to my amazment, the building was turning back into stone.
I don;t think we are under attack, becasue why would somebody reienforce one of our buildings?
I think the spell that turned the walls to dirt is finally wearing off and the walls are turning back to normal. This is good news if true, but it wouldn;t hurt to see if there is any one around trying to cause mischief.

"Yes. Heh heh. Leave no stone unturned."
Takes a few steps foward and peers at the building.
"Perhaps the transformation is but an illusion?"

*Kidwynn looks at the two*
Ok, can anyone see this magical mess to verfiy what you are sayin'?
*Looks at Amagus*
As you stated, leave no stone unturned and lookin' at this hokus-pokus is sooo not my cup of tea or more like brewed mug of rum.

Amagus points his cane at the building.
"A simple touch should reveal whether the walls are soil or stone."

Well then....actually I have a better idea.
*Kidwynn reaches into her pouch and throws a stone at the building in question to see if it bounces off like stone would.*

*The stone bounces off the wall as if it was stone*
*With furture investigation the wall feels, smells, looks, and acts as a stone wall does.*

*After conducting a few tests, Kidwynn turns towards the group.*
As far as I can tell it's stone. Still, might be a good idea if someone can see that magical stuff to verfiy what I was able to discover.
Now, unless there is anything else I'm goin' back to bed.

" now that people are up, there's breakfast to be had if you wish it." Sen says, turning around and heading back into the kitchen.

Once the walls prove safe to touch, Amagus approaches the structure and begins performing a detailed examination (Sense Magic).
