So, Here's The Gist.

We are planning a trip to Medieval times, IN garb. The One in Schaumburg with which we have some familiarity.

We are planning this trip for end of November beginning of December. (ONE Good date in my calendar is sat DEC 3.). I started a list of people that would be interested.

The trip would be a whole day trip. The cost is significant (49 + 8) for a total of $57 for adults.(children welcome of course. They are tiny bit cheaper.) I am going to try to get a group rate. For that everything needs to be done a month or two in advance.

The deal here is that We might be able to swing a ten dollar discount.(MIGHT.) I will attempt to get us into the Green section(not really an issue.) But, as many people can be assure, a trip to Medieval times with some of us can be very very fun!

Any one interest can PM me, and I'll put you on the list. Down the road, when I need to confirm the group, I'll start the money thread.

It's AWESOME.

Sounds like a fun idea here...the hubby and I would like to go, but the sooner we can find out a date, the more helpful it would be, so he knows if he has it off. :)

Go Red and Yellow Knight!

I'm in. December 3rd sounds like a good date. Move it too much one way or the other and there's a possibility of interfereing with holidays/birthdays.

Are we planning on caravaning there with a group of cars or we gunna try to spit out more money for a greyhound or something? Either way, would be fun I'm sure. I just don't really wanna be the one driving.

It has normally been a caravan type experiance. Greyhound ends up not being worth the expense.

I have contacted Medieval times, And gotten the rates.

It's going to be 48.95 for adults, and 36.95 for children. Ten dollars each more for the "royal Treatment." This is a savings of 6.95.
Payment is due upon reservation.

Times are 4pm, and 7pm. my guess is 4 would be better??

I have the following people written down. I would like to do an interest check.

If people are interested, The date will be December 3rd, 2005. If possible I'd like to make the reservations after the November event. I would need to collect fundage then.

The 10th is very do-able for me, but if people prefer the 3rd I can abstain.

The 10th is my birthday, hee hee! I'll have to talk to Rick again, I'm not sure what our financial situation will be then, since I haven't been working.
