A man dressed in a plain brown robe enters the inn. He appears weary in that every move he makes seems almost labored and he carries himself as if he were weighed down by hundreds of pounds. When he speaks, his voice cracks and is weak and parched.
"I seek the man known as Corbyn, leader of these lands. Is he near? Please, it is urgent."
He slumps patiently, awaiting an answer

Shale looks at the man closely. "What business do you have with Corbyn if you don't mind my asking? Perhaps you would like to sit and have a cup to drink first?"

*Neshca pop his head form the other side of the room.*
"I'll go get him for you sir. Might I have a name so he knows who is calling upon him? I am Neshca of the Gryphon at your service."
*Pick up his armor, grabb's his gear than awaits a word for the man.*

"I am Latham de Tellna of the Order of the Seven and thank-you sir for offering a seat, but I must not rest until it has ended, and I fear the time approaches. Please let Corbyn know of my arrival right away. The information that I have will hopefully save all your lives and mine as well."
His words trail off at the end, as if from exhaustion. "I suppose I could have a drink...since you offered."

Shale pours the man a cup of cool water for the man and puts it in his hand waiting to see if he has the strength to hold it before letting go. He then quickly hops over to Neshca pulling him close and whispers into the aviana's ear, "Please, go tell Corbyn this man is here. When he comes please instruct him to do so with caution and prefferably with a witch hunter in escort. This man courses with magical energies as though he's either enchanted somehow, not what he appears, or a mage of some kind. I'll see what I can decern before your return."
Shale then returns to the man's side to see how he fares. "Order of the Seven? Can't say I have heard of it. While we wait would you tell me of it and how you came to this journy?"

*Neshca bows to the man than bolts to go find Corbyn.*
"I thank you good sir I shall return with Corbyn."

*Walks into the Inn with Neshca, and approaches the unfamiliar man cautiously*
I bid you welcome to Haven, stranger. I am Corbyn, and will assist you if I can. My friend here tells me you are a member of the 'Order of the Seven'. Does this refer to the seven portents spoken of in the prophecy? If so, I pray you have tidings that may assist us in our search for useful knowledge regarding it.

**Lambic trails a short distance behind Corbyn. Enters the Inn and heads for the bar, where he aquires a drink for himself and takes up a relaxed position.**

Before Corbyn enters and to Shale:
The man's expression turns to one of anger and he speaks, "The seven, the seven, THE SEVEN!" Upon ending the shout he collects himself and wipes his brow with his hand. In a softer tone once more, he continues. "I apologize, I am very much on edge." And then after a brief sigh, "Seven events impossible to be, six of which have already occured and a seventh which...is...coming. But I have spoken too much already, I must wait for Corbyn."
When Corbyn enters and inquires, the man turns with a weary smile, bows, and responds, "Yes sire. My brothers and I have been researching the prophecy as you call it since we have been aware of its existence. I do in fact have some information that may be helpful. If you would like we may speak in private for I know not who may be listening at the doors or windows, but if you deem it safe that my knowledge be shared with all who are present, both seen and unseen, then I will trust you and we may speak here."
The man awaits Corbyn's response.

If it concerns the prophecy, then all who are present are at equal risk from it's coming to pass. I would prefer you be able to speak freely Latham, but you are correct in assuming that there are undesirable elements, who we presently do not know by sight, that might hear and use your information for evil. A private conversation seems the most prudent course of action. Come, we will speak privately in my chambers at the Guild of Light hall.
*Speaking to all others present in the Inn*
Please have your respective guild leaders come to the Guild of Light hall, and inform any guilds not here. After I have spoken with Latham, I would like to meet with them so that we might weigh his words and choose the best course of action.
*Leads Latham to the Guild hall.*

**Lambic crosses to Shale and whispers something. He then returns to his spot and waits to see if anyone else is going to offer to carry the message to the others.**

by Donovan Thynedar
*On hearing Latham's words, Donovan glances up from his book and places his drink on the table in front of him. He shows a soft, sad smile and rises to his feet. He speaks quietly, to no one in particular.*
"And so it begins..."
*Turns toward the bar.*
"Atrum, will you be joining us?"
*Donovan crosses the room to where Corbyn and Latham are standing.*
"Let's do this. We can pick up Claude on the way."

Shale shadows the haggard man's elbow keeping a watch on the strange figure, and his proximity to Corbyn obviously expecting some kind of trouble. Shale has a look in his eye like he is going over something in his head as the group prepares to leave for the guild hall.

by Claude du Sinjin
*walking up from the back of the inn, Claude appears to be more than a little weary. Bleary eyes look out from a face that is smudged with ink, his hands are covered too. *
I understand we have a vistior, as much as I hate to drag myself away from such pressing duties as the organization of the guard I'm afraid protocol demands it. *sigh*
*walking up the assembled group Claude issues greetings to friends and companions, then looks upon the newcomer*
Greetings good Sir, I am Sir Claude du Sinjin of Deschaine at your service. I hope the tidings you bring are fair but I somehow doubt we are that fortunate. Please, do not wait on my account, let us be off.
*With this he falls in with Donovan and Corbyn, ready to head off to the Guild hall.*
