*Arthos steps infront of Cruffin & Kabre and between them and the sweeper. He stares into there eyes and in low voice*
Lower your weapons. There is no need for viloence against a slave.
*Turns to Cruffin & Kabre*
I understand your impatience and need for revenge, but using viloence against a slave is a mistake. We will find the constable, but we will minamize the blood shed. Calm your raging blood. We will get furthure if we use our heads not or muscules.
*Turns to the sweeper*
My good man, I aplogize for my friends. They have lost a dear friend and they wish to get him back. Can you show use the prision area? You will not be harmed. We just ask that you show us around this place.
*Athos waits for his reply*

He begins leading you in the direction you point, talking all the way. "I'd be happy to go with you but I really know little of this place. I was told to stay in this area and sweep and my family would be safe and so that is what I do, all day, all night. But perhaps the tracks you are seeking will pick up again past my post. We shall see."
He walks on as quickly as you insist (but no quicker)

*Racing at full speed back towards the others...going to assume here Ka is probably ahead once Azara points in the direction to go.*
*Looks at Arthos and catches her breath*
Did we miss anythin'? I tried to get some information out of the girl, but she is far to messed up right now to say much more then mindless jibberish, so we are on our own.
*Looks at the new person*
Who is he?

Might you tell us your name, good sir; and that of the one you serve?

The man looks at Dallid, a bit confused, "Are you suffering from a head injury or am I? DId I not already say my name was Argyle? I thought I did...Oh dear, I am losing my mind...Ah well, I know the man I serve only by Bear"

*Azara snickers*
How ya doin' Argyle. I'm Azara.

"To be honest with ya I am a bit nervous. First, I am threatened and now I am losing my mind. It is a lot for a man to take...Oh well, where are my manners--now I'm losing those too--how are you my dear?"

Ya are not loosin' your mind. I just don't think Dallid here quite caught your name 'tis all.
I appologize for askin' ya this, but as you can see I arrived a bit late from when these people bumped inta ya. Da you by any chance know where some vine creatures might have taken a friend of ours?
I was followin' some tracks and they were headin' in this direction.
*Looks at the ground and notices things have been disturebed, aka swept up.*
Can ya help us?

How long have you served in these tunnels?

"As I mentioned to your friends, I have never been to the prisons, don't want to either. But I will take you to the places I know and you may search or go places I have never been if you'd like. I have no orders in regards to visitors, my only orders are to sweep. Since I have no orders for visitors I will treat you like my guests, like I always used to do. As for how long I have been working, only a couple of weeks, but it feels like years. Much longer, much harder hours than the fields ever were."

*Azara smiles at the man*
I appreciate what ya can do for us. If ya could kindly lead the way, I think my friends here are ready and itchin' to move forward.

We seem to be awfully trusing of this very Joseph-like individual. I'm glad you've all recognized that Donovan probably is NOT in "the same condition as when he left in" as you thought earlier, but I don't know that trusting the word of all the enemy's servants is the best way to get Donovan back.
*Knowing Curufin like a brother, turns to Curufin
Let it go, Arthos is long accustomed to taking control and doing things his way.

Indeed.... even in our very short time here at Haven, we've learned that looks are deceiving. Trust is earned, not doled out like alms for the poor.
*shakes head*
Here we are, in the lion's den... and we're petting and playing with her cubs.
I'm keeping a clear firing line to the custodian, Kabre. And don't get too mad at Arthos... it's not his fault; it's hereditary: He's Elven.

*looks at Arthos, and in the same low tone*
"This man is obviously not a slave. If he were, don't you think he would be asking to be rescued. Think about it for a second. He is in the Druid's lair, working for the Druid. Hell, he could be the Druid, no one here knows.... so until there is some proof telling one way or the other, he WILL be our guide and he WILL be at sword point. If his story checks out, he's got nothing to worry about. Letting him be our guide unchallenged presents an unnecessary risk. There will be plenty of time for pleasantries and apologies later... if we all make it out of here alive."
*To the sweeper*
"Lead on."
