Wonderful event – NPC camp sure kept us busy!
However, I was having trouble controlling my diabetes that weekend, forcing frequent breaks, leaving me drained the whole time, and likely contributing to my near collapse Saturday night in the hell cave – so I didn’t really have a good time. The chemical imbalances make me moody, so I’m really glad muggles didn’t approached me. Despite how important it is to put the best face possible on our hobby, I doubt I could have prevented a surly response. I apologize if I was short or seemed annoyed with anyone.
Like Rosamund, I was happy to see some of my character history come into play. Todd played an awesome Muthar!! Slisk is elated it took an enemy warchief using treachery to kill him. He died happy, and looks forward to the next time.
The elven logic was flawless and fantastically sinister:
Those who join us as a regency of our empire will enjoy the benefit of our protection. All that might threaten them will be removed.
Any entity not under our control is considered a potential threat.
One of the best diplomatic ways of putting ‘Join us or die!’
Lots of fighting meant there was plenty to keep me entertained. If only I was feeling better. I pretty much never had any idea what was going on – just killed whatever came alone. Exactly the experience I’m shooting for with Slisk. However, I miss being more actively involved in chasing down plots. Has me considering bringing Dallid back.
