It's a long shot, but I will see if I notice anything unusual near the Inn that I can track.

*poking at some tender scatches and cuts*
Dallid... the entire Phoenix Guard was pretty cut up by these things. Is it possible to get your healing assistance?
The druid must certainly be behind this.... If his lair was empty then where is he? His vegetary minions are certainly about, and acting with a purpose... and what would he want with Donovan?

Arthos, spending several moments at the bottome of the hole, gets a confused look on his face and scratches his head. Something is wrong, something out of place or inconsistent with the rest. And then he sees it. About a third of the way back up the hole from the bottom, there is a slight jut inward, something that was easy to miss, especially on the way down...

*Emerging from the hole*
I appologize for the delay. Those in need, gather around.
*Dallid's hand glows as he begins healing*
We found a lair of his last night, but he had all ready abandoned it. The creatures who attacked this morning will have left more recent tracks.

*Arthos looks up at the possible tuneel and yells up to Ka*
Hey I think Ifound something. Ka come back down and take a look. I think it might be a tunnel. I'll point it out to you
*Arthos points out the area and throws a glowing rock to Ka. Arthos charges an energy ball and gets ready to help Ka*

The elf thinks he may have found an opening in the sidewall...
*yelling down the hole*
Call for back-up if you need it!

"I don't like the idea of two people checking out something fishy in the rock wall, while the rest of us wait up here. That's how people get dead."

(Azara looks at him)
Arthos and Ka will be alright. I will stay near the hole in case somethin' does decide to show itself.

*as he stands next to Arthos, having never climbed up the rope*
You don't have to yell, sheesh I know it's dark but I'm right here...
*proceeds into the spot Arthos shows*

*Atrum drives the pick into the wall and the shovel into the ground and starts climbing the rope quickly*
You may need these.
*At the top he approaches the trader*
Didn't think I'd see you around here again.

Didn't think I'ld have a good enough reason to come back after my last reception. But, given that there isn't another settlement for leagues capable of providing decent trade, and seeing as how I just completed a trade with some dark-skinned elves a bit south of here, I figured I would stop on by and see if anyone had need of some fine weaponry. I will tell you up front, I have hired a few more bodyguards this time. They are waiting on the edge of town, since it really isn't polite to bring a bunch of armed strangers into a town populated by such nervous folk.
If no-one here is interested, I'll just be on my way. If you are interested, and you would like to see my wares, I would be more than happy to trade.
-Faruun the Trader
Also, I would be very interested in the where-abouts of some draft animals, my guards aren't to keen on pulling a cart, and for that matter, neither am I. I would pay for usefull information in that regard.

"Dark elves, you say? That's interesting."
