We could so make an FH movie. Pick 6-8 characters at random and give me their character histories and I bet I could write a treatment.

Heh, I have 3 scripts in mind already. I already started 2 of them, the first one still needs a good name but it goes from the beginning of the game(starts with Atrum's point of view as he gets into town, want to get Donovan, Dallid and Kathryn's POV) and stops at ED. The second is called Burning Skulls and goes from AE(after ED) to the Night of the Burning Skulls and the third is Trail of Tears and starts with the few people slinking away from Haven under the cover of night. It builds a classic Greek dramatic trilogy, well it will if we ever take Haven back. Once I stop playing Atrum I'm going to try and talk to specific people about certain things.

wow, thats pretty cool, i would love to read something like that, i read most of the journals in the lore section, its cool to see all the different views on critical suff that is done and over with and peoples reasons and thought behind the action.

That's the same three parts I had whenever I think about chronicalling events. It would be cool if interested parties wanted to write their versions of events. Obviously not all characters are relevant to all three parts but everyone in the game plays at least one role in at least one part. Someone could then merge them into one voice and I think you would have quite a good book series.

Woden would DOMINATE book 2!

of course he gets to be the cool character that bites it before the end, but someone has to take one for the team. ;)

Damn, I guess I'm quite a newbie. I would only show up in the third part, and I'd probably be a "flat" character.

You'd get quite a different perspective depending on who was telling the story.

I was playing with something like that (Story or comic) just because someone I know who can't play LOVES to hear what happens, and I need the exercise.

It would probably be a bit of a self-indulgent piece though, because I only really know MY character's perspective, at least from the emotional side, and can't really talk for anyone else's feelings and thoughts.

That's why we need multiple perspectives, multiple versions of the same events. Then we would have several in depth, three dimensional characters that would make a very rich set of novels/movies

If using existing characters, obviously the writer is only going to have to take some artistic freedoms with the characters. It's the only way to handle it.

Right. That was part of my worry. But I figure I'll just slap a disclaimer on it and call it good. :)
