"Yes yes yes, betrayal, not injustice. Who said anything about injustice? And if I told you the whole story we'd be here for a year. As for why they let me leave, well, they aren't so bad really, for orcs. Actually quite reasonable when it comes down to it. Afterall, I would not really satisfy the hunger of even the smallest of them, myself seemingly coming up to thir knees at best--which is not an embellishment but more of a perception--and they, well, they are as big as the trees--which is not really an embellishment either, but more like my perspective. So I simply explained to them that I wasn't worth their time, that they would be much better off eating an elephant which could feed all of them at once instead of poor little old me who would do nothing but probably get lodged in their throat because I'm just wide enough to do that and that would be one large mess and they would probably blame each other for the death of the orc since they decided not to listen to me which would invariably lead to civil unrest and eventually war which, when you consider their ferocity and their size would do nothing but result in the complete and utter slaughter of their entire faction. That and I told them I was heading the same way as them and would scream if I saw any trouble. Your group, fortunately for all of us, seems far from trouble so no screaming is necessary...This isn't an embellishment mind you, but actually a shortening because we talked for quite some time. They're the most talkative orcs I've ever seen in fact...Oh, and there's more of them than what was there. I got that distinct impression because they kept talking about leader this and leader that who was apparently not there and then they went on to say something about the obliteration or annihilation or maybe Obfuscation...I don't know they were eating and talking at the same time--what manners!--and they're difficult enough to understand as it is..."

“You have yet to mention your companions. Surely you do not travel these lands alone?”

*Reaches into her bad and produces a pices of cloth that appears to be wrapping something. She unfolds the cloth and reveals a few blueberry muffins. She hands one to the guthrie and smiles.*

Now, you wouldn't by any chance happen to remember any of the orc's names, do ya luv?

"Alone? At the moment yes, but only because I volunteered to scope out the lands ahead. I'm something of a scout you see. The others are waiting for my return and what stories I have to tell. As for the Orcs' names," he said, eating a piece of the muffin offered, "I haven't a clue."

It was at that moment that sounds could be heard coming from further down the trail. Within moments, four large fully armored Orcs carrying swords and/or axes came into view.

"I suppose you could just ask them," Wicksel said as they approached.

THey stopped a mere five feet from the group, looked around, focused on Wicksel, and said, "You okay Short Butt?"

"No, no no," another orc said. "It's Long Bottom."

"Me know," the first one replied. "Me funny!"

"What you starin' at," a third one said to no one in particular as at this point everyone was staring.

**Lambic turns to the orcs, looking to see if he could recognize any of them. All the while he slips one hand into the satchel at his side and with draws a potion vial, keeping motion slow, low and smooth. He then drops his arm back to his side, palming the potion out of visibility.**

**Lambic then turns back to Wicksel and waits for his response to the question.**

Wicksel looks umimpressed by the joke the Orc made and says in a disgruntled voice, "Fine. Thanks."

“Greetings.” Dallid addresses the Orcs. “We are but westbound travelers, and have asked your friend here to relate what may lie ahead of us. He has proven a fine storyteller, and we were about to offer him a storyteller’s payment – the sharing of our fire and provisions for the night. You are Wicksel’s traveling companions, then?”

The Orcs look collectively confused, though it is unclear why. Finally one of them says, "He not travel wit us. He travel through us and now through you, me guess for utters, but he funny, dat why we like him. What's West dat you go see?"

“We go west to learn what is west. We know not what we will find until we find it. We do hope to find others during our westward travels, and, indeed, we have found you. I would ask in turn what have you found and what do you seek?”

"We go East to see what is East...and to scope out enemy 'cause dats what leader say do, and what leader say do, me do...But me already know what weakness is...they are squishy, so me say, why not go up to em and squeeze head real hard until they scream in agony, but me not stop there, oh no, me keep squeezing until eyes get real big, but me not stop there neither, me keep going until head come right off. Then me stop and go to next one. Soon enemy gone and we no worry no more."

*Drake stands up from his rock and approches the Orcs*

"We have come from the West so maybe we have seen or know of your enemies. They may even be enemies of ours. So would you care to share with us who your enemy is and why they are your enemy? Or did the leader tell you to keep that a secret. In any case, care to join us at our camp? We always welcome a good strong arm to rest by. Expecialy with all the strange creatures that can stalk the area."

*Drake will offer up a spot for them to sit if they choose. He will also hand them some rations to eat.*

*DarKarath watches the approaching orcs with great intrest. Standing as much at ease that can be done, while still ready to throw down if need arises

*Whispers to Drake as he gets up

"I wouldnt try to make sure these fella's are clean up to your impecable tastes my friend, they may take offense. I haven't know many an orc to like 'umies touching 'em."

"Squishees live out in woods near Haven...We better move on, lots to do..."

The orcs if allowed will wander past the group toward Haven...
