*Dallid cocks an eyebrow at the Dragon’s antics, but refrains from comment*
“Beware the obvious. Examine this chamber with caution.”

The light of the magical violet flames in Vaun's right hand begins to flicker on and off, as if she were dealing with a power much greater than she

*Nodding in agreement to the words of the others, Claude walks over the well and peers into the darkness*
Yes, good advice. If Drake and any other "skilled" individuals could search this room... I would appreciate some light as to inspect this ladder.
*With that Claude uses one hand to lower himself to the ladder and test his weight, while the other tightly clutches his sword*

*Drake stands there alittle in shock and alittle confused*
"If its games he wants to play......"
*Drake will enter into the room very cautiously and carefully. Looking for any traps this beast might have set*

Another well, I wonder whats at the bottom of this one. Perhaps Herb will come forth again to pull someone out.

As Cluade tests the stability of the ladder, at first it appears that the ladder gives as a sudden jerkiness is felt, but it is quickly realized that it was not the ladder that moved, but rather the room. Counterclockwise, the room slowly spins, once, twice, three times. THose with Spot will realize that the room did not stop where it started and thus the doorway was pointing in a different direction and led down a corridor at the end of which was a soft glow. Above the doorway, these words appeared: "I believe this is the way you really want to go...or is it?"

“He intends us no boon. We cannot match wits with a Dragon, but neither may we languish with indecision. Let us proceed through this new passage presently and explore what lies beyond.”

*Claude ceases his progress down the ladder as the room spins, and looks to Dallid expectantly. Upon hearing his response...*
As you see fit Dallid.
*Climbing back up from the ladder, Claude once again readies his weapon and heads down the hallway, his eyes seeking the source of this "soft glow"*

*Kidwynn holds her position near Drake and stands there*
I'm woderin' what would happend if someone were to go down the ladder again? Would the room move again with yet another lit passageway and possibly another trap?
Just a thought luvs since you were mentioning head games and all.

“I have yet to catch a Dragon in a lie. I suspect such crude deception is beneath them. Though evil, I see no reason to distrust his words. If he claims this is the path we want to take, then so be it.”
“Should we discover the Dragon will stoop to speaking untruths, then we will have learned something of value… provided we survive the revelation.”

*Kidwynn just shakes her head.*
Just because one dragon speaks the truth does not mean they all do.
*She shrugs her shoulders and if the others head in the direction Dallis does, Kidwynn will follow and continue to keep her guard up.*
