I don't think any new calls should be advanced versions of current calls, seems cheap to have someones build become crap after their immunity to fear is tarnished.
I think targeted calls would be cool, like towards parts of the person. Some examples I'm thinking up on the spot:
Vorpal Shatter: Can't use that limb till you get healing done.
Rake: Opponent is blinded for 5 seconds.
On the topic of blinding, I think anything like that would be interesting to play with. Maybe some illusion spells.

My vote would be no new calls as well. Very satisfied with how the system works as is.

it is my understanding that these ideas or not for FH at this time.
the FH system is only one rule set. and people are always looking for new ideas ^_^
that said I submit my ideas privately

Any "Blind" is a very.. very dangerous effect to even consider allowing into LARP combat.
