.....i forsee only about half of the player base being able to wear full armor, maybe. im going to have to start designing my characters to not have to wear armor, its just to much to worry about

I spent about $100 on ebay for leather chaps and a leather trench 7 years ago. If I had ANY sewing or leatherworking skill I could turn it into some pretty sweet armor. I get full coverage for light and free up keep and all I had to do was buy some stuff and cut the bottom off of the trench. If I wanted to pad the insides or put rings on it I'm sure I could get full medium and atleast some free upkeep tags. Is it pretty hard to get completely free upkeep heavy. Well yeah but heavy gives you alot of protection.

I would suggest wearing it either at check in and/or Game On Meeting and ask those GMs.

I have a leather trench and leather chaps I wear over my other stuff. I would assume that you could get light armor for a trench if you kept it closed. Left open you would probably get full arms +1 pt for partial torso and legs but you probably wouldn't get any free upkeep. But, that's a judgement call for the GM's to make.

Yeah I got chainmail with full sleeves and a coif for $100 on ebay after shipping. I know I get full arms and chest but I don't know what I get for legs because it stops just short of my knees. I just dont count the legs. I get medium armor for free but I treat it as heavy and pay 1 upkeep per location.

It has been stated that if it covers your pelvic joint it counts as legs, so you could get full heavy
