*Atrum throws the missing key to Abbadon*
That key?
Don't look so offended, you'd have done the same if the bell was held by us. Besides, I knew it was useless.

Looks at the key with suspicion.
"You had the key. And you stayed back.Certainly this looks....odd."

OOC: oops, shoulda been pre-key revelation
The flush increases though the voice is still soft, "Father has alot to lose. He can be gruff, but he means well. The loss of the bell could trigger some nasty things in the homeland. So can we focus on the finding of it and not words that may lead to honor duels with dwarves?" The tone is almost pleading, the seer's age showing clearly through with worry.
Begins working with Es.

*Comes out of the bell tower and appears a little bummed.*
No unusual signs of anything inside Abaddon. I'm sorry I couldn't come up with anymore information then I already have.
*Turns to Atrum*
I overheard what you were saying down here. Mr. Atrum it was not the dwarves in change of guarding the bell while we were away it was the Gendarmen. That is why I want to talk to them already.
*Looks at Eilonwy*
Got anything?
*Notices the key in Abaddon's hands.*
Umm...what's that?

*Atrum bows slightly at the waist to Eilonway*
True, the focus should be on finding the bell and who took it.
*Looks to Abbadon with a look of astonishment*
You really do think I'm an idiot don't you? Why in all of Phanterra would I let you know I had the key if I had ANYTHING to do with this? Why would I tell you that I was going to break into the tower to watch over the bell? Give me atleast a little credit. Now, can we please focus on finding out what happened here? Besides, ask the gaurds, I never left the spot I picked out to watch the door from.
Are the Gendarmen not employed by the dwarves?

OOC:
Abaddon is holding the key.
"That is the key that was stolen from these grounds."

*Looks at Abaddon*
Where was the key?
*Turns back to Atrum*
The Gendarmen are a, for lack of beter teminology, a royal guard of sorts. We exist 'outside' of Clan and safeguard all of Caldeonia. We are not employed by the dwarves. Or they are not employed by the dwarves. I just left a two years serving in the Gendarmen shortly before you all arrived here awhile back.
Inarian Hay is Captain of the Guard and Uncle's Sylas's adopted son. I already talked to the Gendarmen because I still have associates there and I figured they would talk to me who was one of them.

"It looks like Atrum had it. At least tell me it never left your sight." Abaddon says. "I know we disagree, but I'm certain you are not interested in moving forward Corbyn's adjenda."

It never left my sight, I never even had it analyzed by anyone else. I kept it with me at all times. That, you can count on. There is certainly one thing we all have a passion for and that is making Corbyn pay for his betrayal.

*Aurora has a faint smile.*
Glad you two are on the same page with that. Unless Eilonwy and Esmerelda comes up with any ideas on where to go next, I've drawn a blank for now. I asked the Gendarmen to keep their eyes open and I might go and take a look at the other bands of refugees sights and see if I can observe anything unusual.
I still wear the black so they might just mistaken me for one of the guard.
*Looks at Atrum and Abaddon*
It's an idea on what to do next.

The youth looks up from gazing at the runes.
"Nothing."

*Looks over at the ladies*
Thanks for trying.
*Looks at Abaddon and Atrum*
Ok, then unless either one of you two have any objections I have some investigating to do around this place. I can easily blend in with the Gendarmen so in theory no one else would be any wiser.

There's a scrabbling from outside, and a pounding up the steps of the tower. The group looks in alarm, to see Daine come around the corner, out of breath.
Is it true? Somebody took the bell?

"It's true. While we were gone, someone took the only weapon we have against the Betrayer. They did so, knowing full well that we had gone on a mission for King Galen himself. I think we should concider it no less than an act of war by the elf himself.
Now are weak, separated and squabbling. It would be perfect for him to finish what he started. I think we should cast aside our differences in this regard. I have been a part of this in fighting, and now it has brought ruin. All of us will need to be on our guard in the coming moon."

I concur. It seems someone has to do fence mending with the dwarves and Galen. And probably Sylas as well.
*Looks to Esmerelda and Eilonway and extends an arm to each*
Shall we?
