(OOG: After a short adjournment, I have returned. It is somewhat unclear what is happening at the moment. It sounds like the Phoenix Guild is ready to head to the cave. It is unclear who is going with them...Any takers?)

(*OOG: I think Kathryn and Dallid are also going to the cave, and Azara will be meeting us there. I'm unsure if we convinced the cow or not

(OOG: The Pheonix Guild has healers, so I think Dallid is staying at the Guild Hall. Besides, he's having a looooooooong conversation with Ka.

Kathryn and the Phoenix guild then (and anyone else who tags along) head out into the strom. The swirling winds and pelting rain make the progress somewhat slower, but the party moves fearlessly forward, undeterred. After some time passes, Kathryn finally leads everyone to the cave. Two things are immediately apparent. The voices have subsided and Azara is gone.

*Kathryn appears confused and concerned*
This is where we left Azara, but I don't see her. Can anyone among the Phoenix guild track where she might have gone to?

Well, Dallid and I came back to town to gather a force large enough to enter the cave, so since we are all here, I say we should go in.

"If we have someone able to move quietly ahead to spot possible traps or sign from Azara, I defer to them to head up this incursion, and I'll follow close behind -- otherwise I'll take point"
I'm Here

*Arthos queitly comes from the woods and approachs the group*
My trip did not take as long as I supected. Dallid informed me where you where and I came as quickly as I could.
I will go in first and check for traps. I can not track, but I can make sure there is no danger or traps
*Arthos heads into the cave searching for traps and sensing for magic*

Arthos tentatively enters the cavern, the others close behind. Vigilant, the party progresses, ready for any dangers that may befall them. Muddy water drips from the ceiling but the structure of the cavern seems stable, at least for the time being. Quiet step after quiet step, the party travels deeper into the darkness. No sounds but the controlled breathing of the members of the group can be heard. Flickering light begins to eat into the darkness and as they travel, the world begins to reveal itself. The cavern eventually opens up into a wider , circular room, well lit from torches throughout. On the ground and on the walls are familiar runes and the magic once cast here is still palpable--it can still be sensed. At the far end of the room, an object appears to be proturding from the wall. As Arthos approaches, it begins to take shape. Moving closer, unable yet to believe what his eyes are clearly seeing, Arthos takes one careful step after another. Blinking, as if trying to clear the image, Arthos can be seen shaking his head. Closer still and the image is undeniable. Out of the wall, one small arm reaches forth, as if grabbing for life.

*Rather alarmed at Arthos' reaction*
"What is it?!?!"

*In a daze Arthos approachs the wall where the arm sticks out and starts to dig very slowly. Arthos has a shocked look on his face and any one close to him hears him mutter "The line has been drawn, this will end now and it will end with the bears death. You do not do this to children"
*Arthos face hardens as he digs, but says nothing more*
