*to zander*
no she was not
*to donovan*
Yes I can see you are better off with out me, your men side with pentag, question your judgement, the town is rife with spies, and you side with my father who you have known but a few minutes. My actual actions speak louder than your insults. Put your actions beside mine, along with the strife created since you and your band came to town, and all will see the truth. I see the high road has become a little to hard to tread for your high horse, the "little prince" is deeply wounded by the slings and arrow you have cast at him.
*to zander*
You are king. Pardon Gul, I apologize only in part. Do not think me so easy to "execute" I will now be leaving your lands. I will go and resume my hunt, while the bickering continues as it always does.
*to donovan*
The little prince will not be there to lead away those who you wish to kill becauese they question your judgement and favoiteism the next time you and yours grow tired of hearing the truh
*roland leaves and disappears into the night*

If you hear me coming, I didn't come to kill you.

*Donovan looks at Zander.*
"Robin leads the Griffins, another group not unlike the Phoenix Guard. As for why she presented herself as leader, it is beyond me. I am certain she was only trying to represent the interests of the Haven. Nuk was not part of my house, nor a memeber of the Phoenix Guard. I killed her because she was a threat to the people here and in Haven. Besides, I wouldn't worry too much about her. She won't be dead for long."

One should rather die than be betrayed. There is no deceit in death. It delivers precisely what it has promised. Betrayal, though ... betrayal is the willful slaughter of hope.

*Donovan smiles at Roland as he leaves.*
"Happy Hunting."
*Turning to Zander, Donovan shakes his head.*
"No Zander, no Havenite is planning on ressurecting her, but someone else is. Someone who has the ability to allow her to escape Pentag's influence and perhaps, just perhaps, bring the him to justice. It's less likely now that I've said something, but I am having an awfully difficult time caring at this point."

"I doubt he'll do it here, Zander. He certainly knows better than to make an enemy he doesn't need. The man is Roland's father, Galen Campbell, King of Caldonia and one of the most powerful men in the history of this land. You knew him as Barappis. He has been hunting Pentag for quite some time - nearly a century if I remember correctly. He planned on restoring Nuk in the presence of someone who could be sure to remove Pentag's influence and use her against him. Being as that we have encountered several folks who seemed to be under some sort of suggestion that went beyond the arts that you and Corbyn use, I thought it for the best. Hopefully I haven't spoiled his plan by telling you, but he seemed a resourceful fellow. I'm sure he'll be all right."

"ENOUGH!"
*Curufin's eyes are a pale white*
"She is gone. You speak of Her as if She was a desease. She is not. She was very dear to me. The next person to call Her a witch or some other slanderous name WILL DIE! I promise you this! This is now between Me, Donovan, and Corbyn. It doesn't concern the lot of you. So I suggest you go about your buisness and leave us own devices. We will take care of this....in private. If you people have more squabling to do, make it quick. But I warn you not to drag Her memory through the dirt while I'm around."
*Curufin's makes eye contact with everyone around, then continues to follow Corbyn to the outpost*

To Donovan:
"I am aware of whom Barapas was, and what power he may or may not have. I do not recall however, EVER being made aware she would be restored to life. I was under the impression her body was destroyed, and her head as well until Rolnad informed me Gidoen stole that head."
*On hearing Curufins threat Zander turns slowly to face him*
"Anguished over the death of your dark skinned bitch or not, if you tongue flies such again I will not only slaughter you where you stand, I will fell the leader that allowed you to speak. Do you unserstand me you patheticly small and insignificat elf !?!?"
Zander redies his shield and axe staring at the elf. the soldirs near by do the same(4 at the moment)

*Annika steps forward and raises her hand to Zander.*
"Zander, if you will permit me... I brought these people here to fight off a would-be foe and they came to defend me against what they thought was an evil."
"It is obvious their intent is good, even if they are as torn as we were and still are to a certain extent. Please permit me to lead the group out of Frostfell peaceably so that tempers may be quieted and blood cooled, but not spilled..."
*Three of the guards relax a bit, but weapons still readied.*

Zander barks:
"Tell this Corbyn I want the rabble out of Frostfell by night fall as well the leaders that allow such blatent disrespect. ANy havenite here tomorow will be killed!"
With that he turns to his guards and tells them to spread the order and to gather an Urgeth contingent 6 strong to make sure they majority leave with no harm to Frostfellians. Once the guars head off to to as ordered Zander heads to his own bear to leave.
