Well, then lets settle in for the night ahead of us. Hopefully, it will be calmer than the last.

The majority of the night goes without incident. Towards the end of the second watch, a scream pierces the night followed by the sound of gruff voices and shouts.

"Burn everything!" a deep voice shouts
"Yes sir"
"Where is he? Tell me wench!!"
"nooo!" a female voice cries.
"Sir, I found him"
"Bring him to me"
"Yes Sir!"
"Where is the message?"
A very weak male voice answers, "I dont have it"
"Liar"
"I dont I swear. Talbot had it"
"Then what good are you"
The sound of a club hitting flesh is clearly heard
"Lock them in the Inn and burn it"
Another scream pierces the night followed by complete silence

*Wakened by the first scream*

"Voices from the past! What magic is this? Is Time not well here?"

Those awake can see faint ghostly figures near the front of the Inn to go with the voices

*Keeps watching the images for a few moments and then turns to Kels. Kidwynn appears less exhausted then she was previously.*

More ghosts and they are reliving something yet again luv. Shall we leave this tower and go take a look?

*Charges a Banish spell, but the voices (and assuming the 'ghosts') are gone by the time the spell is ready*

It would seem this settlement was destroyed only a few years ago, as such many of these apparitions, namely the attackers, may yet be alive. What we heard and saw would seem something other than a re-enactment of the undead. It's as if we witnessed a memory.

However, should they return, a dose of Life energies should offer proof one way or the other.

*sitting up from under a cleverly disguised bedroll*

Ok, so why has this crap been cropping up lately? Here and in Haven... I mean not long ago we were being disturbed for half the night by apparitions that were reliving past events and even mistaking people for ones long dead. Hell, I even had one slap me on the back.
So thats what I wanna know... why are all these ghosts popping up? Why now, what happened to start this... or has Haven had a problem with ghosts for a while now and noone decided to tell me?

A similar event has occurred recently in Haven? This is indeed a mystery, and cause for alarm.

You didn't hear about this? A buncha ghosts showing up outside and even inside the Inn. Damn, gotta ask Donovan about the details again... Hmm, lemme try to remember...

I seem to remember one guy forbidding his daughter from seeing another guy. I remember we figured their family was realted to the Silverthorne line somehow... damn if that wasn't a long night... *sigh*

Also, after that basilisk mess there was a merchant whose ring we recovered. He said that ring came from a ghost. She was seen reenacting some past event and when she disappeared the ring was there. I think that ring was also some kinda Silverthorne related antique...

*Awakened by the commotion*

I have also witnessed ghostly visages three times in recent months. As Rahl said, and as they appear here, the spectres seem to be re-enacting events from the past. From the ones I've seen, the only common theme seems to be someone's death. There could certainly be a Silverthorne connection as well.

Were any other objects related to the ghosts found, such as the ring Rahl mentioned? Perhaps the message Rahl now carries is the same that these last ghosts were searching for.

*Watches everyone talking from the tower with Kels while looking at him wondering if they might be heading down to join in on the conversation.*

*Kels looks at Kidwynn*

*Kels pulls out a few arows that he had stuck in front of him*

*Kidwynn smiles at him*

Big sigh there Kels. We can get back up here soon enough so you can be all content again.

*She follows him down to join the others.*

There did not appear to be any objects of note in the events I witnessed. The ghosts I saw simply appeared, enacted a scene, and vanished.
