Monk level 3
Monk Level 3:
Monk is immune to arrows, xbow bolts, and and thrown weapons.
*packets are not weapons so thus this keeps them out of the issue.
Course if he's hit with a rock while charged does he lose his charge?

So I lose my armor bonus and/or harden skin? That's way complicated since you'd have to remember two sets of numbers. One for when you are charged and one for when you aren't.
I'd go with the lose the charge... you are hit with a weapon (it doesn't say it has to do damage in the rules anyway)
Btw, what's wrong with a Monk being immune to rocks and throwing knives? These are slower than arrows and bolts anyway. Also, who's going to confuse a 1 damage rock with a 30 Magic Boom?

Because thre is the possibilty of it being confused therefore I say take out the confusion.
I absolutely refuse to cover every darn contigency of how a rule can be interpeted. Ofcourse you do not loose harden skin and that is not what I meant.
How about the rule that if you get hit, even if it does no damage you loose the charge. This rule works for the monk loosing the charge.
Or I could just say immunity to arrows does not give immunity to loosing a charge.

I know that isn't what you meant but someone could read it that way. (This also goes into the whole no other skill being usable with rage thing).
However, as it's been said The monk loses the charge based on the getting hit.
Skills don't need 3 page descriptions, they need to be extremely specific. Assumptions are the bane of rules.

Would it be too damn hard to just say that a fricking thrown rock doesn't DO anything?!?!
It doesn't do damage
It doesn't interrupt
It doesn't get enchanted and mystically heal
IT IS JUST A FRICKING ROCK!!!
It just seems that this damn rock is coming up alot! This is a LARP, not real life, in LARP rocks can be intangible non-weapons right?!?!
