Leave tha girl be. She is not ready for y'all ta be grillin' her. I thought ya were here ta help Donovan and tha others with Bear's possible sightin' and well other stuff he has been up ta.

*quizzical look at azara* I wasn't looking to.. uh.. 'grill' her.... if anyone has established a rapport with her, I'd prefer that that person were there. she has intimate knowledge of the tunnels, and it may be essential that we ask her about them while it's still fresh in her mind.

And I was just down at the inn... donovan didn't say anything to me about bear, has he been spotted?

Indeed, Bear has captured two more villagers - and has likely enslaved and transformed at least one of them. We are just now departing to make a rescue attempt, and could certainly use your help, Brikal.

You are making a map of Bears domain? The girl, whose name is Mara now, might indeed supply you with useful information. We should certainly pursue this upon our return.

You walk through the woods for a while, eventually coming to a place where it simply looks like people were dragged away and sucked underground. You travel further, adhering strictly to the directions Azara gave you. Eventually, you come to a pile of severely torn clothing. You recognize the pieces as resembling what Pabbi was wearing earlier. Near the clothing is a focus circle and runes similar to what you have seen previously. Not far away you hear first and then see a rather large bear, clearly disoriented, confused, shaking its head, walking back and forth, sometimes in circles. Eventually, it spots you, and it turns to face you. It makes no move toward you but rather sits and watches curiously.
