To the Village in search of the Perfect Being

“There are those in and near Haven who resemble your enemy, though with pointed ears not as long and a different style of dress. There are Elves whom are not Wood Wraith, though Wood Wraiths may well be Elves. Thus are we concerned as to how you identify your foe.”

Exactly! And some of them are friends to Haven, so you see, we just don't want you to start making drink of our friends, nor of Haven for that matter. It would not be the smart thing to try to make them into drink, and you're obviously not only strong but smart, no doubt to that. As a matter of fact I think one of the Broken Tusk said just that, Zat is smart and strong orc. Yeah, I'm sure it was Zat they said. No matter though, as one friend that doesn't want to make drink of another friend, the smart thing is to make sure that Haven and the elves around Haven don't think you're coming to make drink of them. You wouldn't want that would you Zat, for everyone in Haven and all the elves to think you were coming to make them into drink. Besides, what does Zat think would make Traz happier, more people even if they are small wanting to make orcs into drinks or wanting to help the orcs? I'm sure you can figure that out easily or are you not as smart as they say?

The Orc laughs hard. "Orc drink? Ha ha ha ha ha. Whoever heard of Orc drink? But you are right, Me VERY smart. Me can tell difference between woods squishees and Haven squishees. Unless you are saying wood squishees and you squishees are friends, which means you our enemy. So tell me, Atrum Draconus, Rector Silens Letum, House Draconus, you speak for all of Haven and declare yourselves enemies?"
Before a response can be made, the Orc laughs again and says, "But worry not because we just go to look, not squish. Look and report back is my orders. That is all. For now. So you have plenty of time to go West and then declare enemy later."

*Drake will pat Zat on the back and casualy wipes off some of the dirt that has been bugging him to see*
"No, No. Were are just as much enemies with them as you are. And we would like to help you when it comes time for you to attack them. So please, speak with your Leader and let him know about us. I'm sure we can work something out."
*Drake will then offer a hand shake and step out of their way*
"But you do seem busy, so we will let you get back to your scouting."

“Perhaps two volunteers can accompany these Orcs. They can help explain their purpose to anyone encountered from Haven. Learning more of Wicksel may also prove beneficial. The rest of us should continue westward. Perhaps more information may be exchanged between Traz’s war party and us along the way.”
Dallid turns back to the Orcs.
“Indeed maybe you could help us further. We seek entities that possess the bodies of others. Perhaps you know someone who prefers to do nothing other than think, or is extremely random, or always building or making something, or completely unwilling to fight, or never rests - always on the go. These are signs of the presence of such entities.”

*DarKarath Smiles at the thought of Smart Orcs, and stands down from his tensed posture
*Looks on as Atrum speaks as fast and precise as he does, and chuckles when the Orc falls for his ploy
*DarKarath leans against the tree he is by and waits until either the Orcs move on, or is given other orders, he is also keeping an eye on the little Guthrie making sure he isnt up to no good

Day 2
On the second day, no Orcs, guthries or other humanoid creatures are encountered and few are disappointed by the lack of excitement. However, as time passes more and more uneventfully, an uneasy feeling settles upon the group, for uneventfulness can never be a good thing and the sinking feeling that this is the calm before the storm becomes prevalent. By late afternoon, the need for something, anything to occur is so great that it is almost a relief to come across, just off the path, a very large wolf, who at the moment appears to be sleeping. While the oddity of seeing a wolf sleeping out in the open does not go unmissed, the greater worry stems from the fact that it is a single wolf, and the apparent absence of its pack leads to immediate alarm...
