Knockout
I was reading the rule book yesteraday and came across descripence on Knockout.
The charge times stated in the book are
Basic: 15 sec
Advance: 20 sec
Master: 15 sec
This goes against all other charge times in the rule book. Typicaly the master skill charge time increases, not decrese. Is this an error, or is this on purpose?
How does the adding of racial ablities (Valkin V), Equipment (Sap), and othre skills (Way lay), effect the charge time of knockout?

charge time
I believe the valkin'vi and sap do not add to charge time... just like the elven does not add to charge time ... the master is a mistake. Should be 30 count.

If I remeber correctly, Knockout is target specific. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Would that be a sleep resist? If not aside from beeting the # is there a resist to knock out?
-Eli (Full Elvish: Elaith Vonaduran Craulnober)
There once was a man named Eli,
A man who claimed he could not die.
But one thing makes him wail:
That's when there is no ALE!
Thus his tale: with no beer, he will cry.
(The dark haired, green eyed mage child has faded into the past leaving behind one not quite an adult, but clearly no longer a child. The warrior-mage mixture that he has become can only be described as a survivor. )

I didn't see anything either way in the rule book; are Knockouts accumulitive or stackable?
Examples -
1) A sage using waylay will hit somone with 1 knockout over and over again. Assuming the target is wearing armor and is currently takening no damage, will the target be eventually be knocked out?
2) Two rouges are using the basic knockout and plan to simultaeously attack the target. Would that be equal to a 6 knockout or just 3 knockout done twice?
3) A sage is using mimic for the basic knockout ability. With the waylay ability, will the sage hit for 4 knockout? If so, what would be the charge time on that?

The book states: The Sage through study has learned how to knock people out. The sage may charge a (1) knockout for 15 seconds. The damage from this skill stacks with other knockout skills without
increasing the time.
Thus, when using Waylay, the sage would do a 4 knockout with a 15 seconds charge time.
No other knockout abilities stack within or between characters, nor are they cumulative. Because knockout does nothing to armor, you can either resist or you can't. A person with 5 armor will always resist a 1 knockout or a 3 knockout, no matter how many times or how many people are administering them.
