I wasn't trying to imply that the event would be miserable or that the GM Staff was unsympathetic (in the first post it was mentioned that the Hannah House would be rentable if necessary). I was just trying to assist in keeping everyone informed - as someone who has played at Camp Shawadassee many t...

Just a suggestion, if you're going to run a winter based game you might want to look for another spot that has heated sleeping areas. That is what I was implying. I've played at Shawadassee in the cold months, they have heated areas that are rentable - just not sure of the cost. Which is why I brou...

*shrugs* Just struck me as a little odd. When we played NERO out there in the colder months, the Hannah House was the exclusive PC area while the Health Lodge was the NPC Camp - we didn't even use the woods when it was that cold. Also, last I knew, the only accomidation one had to make for upstairs ...

If I recall, the Hannah House can also accomidate a good number of people for sleeping. Why on earth would you rent out unheated cabins for a November Event when you could house everyone in a Heated structure? :?

I fear it won't help, Chris. Sure, it is nice to know the stereotype of a certan race, but Haven is a freakin' melting pot. Chances are, what a certain race was brought up to believe will not stick well in Haven when confronted with so much diversity.

Wow - this thread is degenerating into sillyness. So, might I add:

I wrote up Ming with a backstory and every intention of coming into game playing with Lao (my hubby), so there. :P

Sharing of resources? Why did it not happen last session? Nobody asked to my knowledge or even suggested it. So what happened to grand idea? Donovan did touch on the idea to be Communists and pile all of our Resources together and make sure everyone was taken care of. But, he told us upfront that t...

Donovan told Ming to find the good in Amagus - never once did it cross her mind to sit at a table across from him, with a skeleton laid out between them, and have a little chat.

It truly amazed me how many people vocalized, "Its about time someone did something about that." Just goes back to my previous statement - people are lazy and want someone else to take care of them, make all the decisions, do what needs to be done, etc ... That way, when something goes wro...

Admittedly, I was sick of hearing people bitch out-of-game. Even though I saw it as Ming overstepping her bounds in approaching The Phoenix and Woden with her concerns of townspeople eating around dead bodies and Amagus using undead as minions, I was admittedly frustrated beyond belief out-of-game a...
