I definitely vote option 1. To lose all the levels and things I have worked for for the past 4 years would be super lame. I am all for the option of transferring your character or having a full rewrite.

I saw that a character could get Sense Magic twice, through Empath, and then Mage Hunter level 2. I feel that Jack could easily RP being able to use basic swap outs like Restore Essence or Slick. Invigorate and any of the martial training or weapon style abilities too. I could see a Jack being able to sense essence, which is a basic Magus ability. A mage hunter could, so why not let Jack take it...
