Yeah the new Battlestar is great and all, but I have one question:

When are they going to bring back Muffit the robotic daggit?

Sure it looks great Wayne, but I don't notice any place in those buildings for my Space Marines to set up to cut your Orcs to shreds. I thought you Miniature Gamer Phreaks might want to see this http://z11.invisionfree.com/Work_In_Progress/index.php?showtopic=9485&st=0 . This is a whole diffrent...

I have heroscape. I enjoy it quite a bit. There are a TON of expansions out there too and they actually provide quite a bit of variety to the game. You can really develop some fairly in-depth strategy with the game but it still stays a fairly simple game. I also like the adaptability of the 3-D game...

baby

Not having read any of the previous books and so having no sort of vested interest in the series whatsoever, I did, however, find myself curious as to how it ended. So, I read the last chapter or so... Before my wife could finish the book, much to her chagrin, as I then went around saying hmmm... wh...

I agree, rarely do movies do books any justice. However I think one of the few expections to this (and I may anger quite a few people with this) were the Lord of the Rings. I always felt the books were fantastic concepts, very poorly realized in Tolkien's (in my opinion) rather lack-luster writing. ...

LARPer Nature Study

I don't know if anyone else has caught this but X-Play on the G4 network keeps running these segments of "Nature Studies" on wild LARPers. It is pretty hilarious and more than once I've done double takes because I swear I know some of the people they are filming. When the "biologist&q...

I think I get it. Final Haven Shadow Realm=Star Wars Hyperspace. Travel times are not eliminated, just greatly reduced. See you have to explain everything to me in terms of star wars or food, those are the only things I understand.

So if I understand the problem correctly, and if I don't just ignore me, we have a "teleport" spell that can send someone into another realm essentially, and then they have to be pulled out again by another, more difficult spell. That makes sense to me, much easier to throw something into ...

No matter how good these new movies might have been, I don't think that they ever could have compared to the originals. The originals came out in a time when science-fiction could barely be considered a genre, followed by a small group of supporters who were far from the main stream. The special eff...

attention all former band members

Hey all, I thought perhaps you might be a good crowd to ask about this. As most of you know, I am a band director and in a district with many students whose families are very low income. One of the challenges I face is that many of my student's families cannot afford to buy or rent an instrument for...

I'm sorry, I just don't see it. Maybe I'm blind, maybe I just don't know what to look for. But, what I see is a bunch of people arguing around in circles and at each other's throats - only uniting when the threat comes to their doorstep. Once the threat is taken care of, it is right back to square ...
