Hehe, I never said anything to you about cheating. My, "So you can run away while casting a giant arcane spell." was in jest. I , nor do I think Heidi, feel as though your going to cheat. I feel she was mentioning what she thinks went wrong last event. I only tried to state what I feel abo...

I'd have to take it that the last one wasn't completely literal. If everyone of every race were to act exactly the same. This would be one boring game. Edit: I read that really fast and then typed even faster. Comprehension came later. "Totally different" Yep. Though I do have to admit tha...

I just thought about something interesting about my past characters. Both of my characters Ravinal and James had magical items and the game they had full use of them, they died. Tullus never came close to having one. Maybe I should avoid them like the plague. :)

There are still moments when I play FH/WH that I feel silly. I realize that I'm on a camp site in something I most likely put together myself. And that I'm pretending to be something else. Then there are moments where I look around and I'm in the forest at night. It's blindingly dark, there is a sli...

I don't know which I may do better, act or write. Maybe they're equal or maybe not. Heck, perhaps I'm mediocre at both. I know it may be somewhat dangerous to mess with something I really appreciate on a different playing field. Yet, if I don't try I know I'll always wonder if I should have. I didn'...

I'm at work

I'm finding it much easier to post while I'm at work lately. I guess just as long as I'm sneaky, it's a definate perk. Anyhow, I wanted to post about how Ravinal wasn't my original choice for my first character. That character was a fast rash decision based on the fact that I didn't want to step on ...

I do have to admit. The last game I played a living Ravinal, I really enjoyed being the only one who could effective defend against "the beast". Though I'm sure the people who npc'd "the beast" got pretty tired of seeing me. I may have roleplayed being tired of going out and defe...

There were many moments in roleplaying that I remember with Ravinal. Even though Ravinal was quite terrible in the animalistic part of the roleplay, the plot with his family made me feel like an actor. It was as though everyone around concentrated on those moments with me. As though Ravinal was the ...

Ha, right. Like I have the time. It'd have to be my full time job for me to be able to even make it to my own larp. Much less, my making it to all the other. Though I definitely wouldn't mind running a rpg again, someday.

Indeed. Like I said, this came from a sleepless night after looking through endless awesome European larp websites. And it's the reason it's in Random Junk rather than in Rule Suggestions. It would be a nightmare to balance. Yet, after talking to a friend. It could work. Though, I guess I'll just ha...

And so, to continue on with this thought. Being able to sneak in afew posts at work while being bored. The struction as last I left off would be: Skills costs: Basic 20pts Advance 30pts Master 40 pts Conforming disciplines to path format. Moving all paths in with the rest of the disciplines. Each di...

I would like to apologize about impling that those reading the thread were close minded. That seemed to ruffle a few feathers. Though I stand by my statement of the rule still seeming somewhat odd. Yet, if it's been tested both ways, I have no problem with whatever had been finally decided.

I agree with Art. Here is my example of what the rule sounds like. There is this obelisk in the forest. It has the possibility of attracting monsters and other forms of baddies. A person roleplays in character that they are reading, talking aloud to themselves, scrying with crystals, etc.; In order ...
