Fox could not help the delighted peel of laughter that danced musically from her lips. It was rare that she found someone who could out-talk her for sheer cheerfulness, but this elf was a one. She grinned and made her explanations. “We,” and she pointed to herself, “are Fox. Well, us and our tail, o...

Fox giggled as the elf began his speaking, and tried to answer his questions one at a time, but found no pause in his words. Her foresty eyes danced and she set down the stone in her hand to give him her full attention. Hers was a countenance of only innocence and light, no shadow or sorrow there at...

Fox's smile faded as she heard Solari's dire words, and a worried frown took its place. She looked back and forth between him and the towering warrior man. There was so much pain and sorrow here... it made her ears ring. She reached up a little hand and tugged on Solari's, more to remind him she was...

Fox, curled up in a chair by the hearth, heard the sound of Eilonwy's voice and awoke with a sleepy smile. She stretched a stretch that would have done a real fox proud and carefully unfolded herself to sit up and gaze in her 'sister's' direction. She yawned, but smiled. "We would help you, pre...

Because there are savage only diciplines that fit Fox that I can't take if I'm common, silly. And it's not just about trying to bend things to fit me. It makes perfect sense to me for Scout to be in savage as well, that's all. If it's never going to be, then fin, I'm good, but it makes perfect sense...

Again, I'm just trying to understand why Scout is not also in savage. I don't want it moved or anything like that, just inclusive. Imagination, Reid, is not a problem that I have. *poke* To be honest, if I were trying to be a cheezy girl I'd just stay common for the allegiance plus. However, I feel ...

Fox gave Lambic a winning smile and took his advice, seeming to see it as permission to have a second cookie. Indeed, the dwarf was correct, for the warm chocolate was like perfection to her delicate palate. She sighed in complete contentment, licking every last crumb and strey bit of chocolate from...

I'm with Eric on this one. Maybe I'm just being too character-centric and unable to think outside my personal frame of refrence, but Fox is not a Druid. Druide live nature. They revere it like a RL person would religion. Nature is their everything. That's not what I'm going for. More... the friendly...

*pokes WayneO-kun* It's not the samantics of the name I'm having a hard time with, silly. It's the skills in the discipline not being avaliable to savages. I'll be common if I have to, because Fox is a Scout. She runs off on her own all the time to see what's going on in the forest (scout), and slee...

In the Lands Abroad: The Memorial Tree

The earth still remembered the blood which had soaked it the last few weeks, and the blood there spilled long before even that. The trees whispered of great battles, death, and destruction. The wind told of sorrows uncountable. And one little child of the forest heard them all. Yet, they did not ste...

Fox gave as winning a smile as had ever graced the face of a human child when she saw Sen produce the trey of cookies. With a leap and a bound, she was at them in seconds, daintily choosing one of the confectionary treasures with relish. She ate with slow purpose and undeniable pleasure. When she wa...

Scouts do not get wilderness survival... and thus no resources from this discipline. While you are correct that there are more savage disciplines than privlidged, there would likely be more savage people in the world, especially with the fall of civilization. I'm not trying to be a git, it's just th...

Fox gave Lambic a happy wave and nodded solomnly. "The painted one was going to give us some cookies. We think that you look like you could use some as well." The gravity in her voice match that in her eyes, spoiled only by the wink she gave Eilonwy.

*pokes the druid* I've checked, but a scout is far more fitting.

Chris- Does this mean it was a typo and I can be a savage scout? *puppy dog eyes*
