If anyone has a place in GR for us to crash at, all the better. Getting a hotel everytime is getting expensive. Plus, I doubt I can get a good rate for that night.

I think Brad was comparing a month to month cost. But our biggest concern is that you shouldn't be losing money, and it shouldn't be costing you out of pocket. That kind of burden only adds to GM burnout. We feel there might be a better way to handle things, so that it doesn't come out of your pocke...

1. I did not think it was ok for PCs to argue with the NPCs during a scene. (Ahem...cough...cough...Especially since some of those PCs have been in that position as NPCs and GMs themselves) NPCs and GMs have reasons for doing what they need to do. 2. NPCs have a right to be loud, but should not yell...

I had a blast. It may have been a coink-y-dink, but ending saturday night big battles earlier than 2 or 3 was great. I think everyone was zonked. I wish I'd gotten to do more on Friday and Saturday during the day, but post dinner was enough to make up for it. We couldn't have asked for better weathe...

What do I see?

I would really like this clarified here and at the next game-on meeting. In the past if we have asked the question to NPCs, we've gotten a description of the varying monsters represented. This was allowed because it's too difficult to physically represent each monster we encounter. As far as the PCs...

Nearly FREE options to aid

When I first stared larping I would re-wrap my crackers and snack foods in brown paper. I just cut apart grocery bags, or used butcher paper to wrap it in. Tie it up with plain string and works great. Another thing to use, for fruit, nuts, and such....cheese cloth. I haven't done this in years, beca...

Heavy lidded eyes blink slowly, as Indira absorbs what she has been told. The very improbability of losing months, perhaps years, sinks into her depths and full rounded tears slowly begin to trickle from her own eye, and then from her "borrowed" eye. She looks up to those surrounding her; ...

Sorry guys.

We're not going to make it. I have school work and Brad has Web work to do, so we're going to pass on the festivities. I think next year we should plan on getting a huge group together to head out there.

Have a fun time and drink a beer for me!

ok, we will try to be there between 12 and 1. I don't see the beer tent on the festival map though. If it's where Mother Grove will be playing, that might be easier to find. I can't get too barley and hopsy though, we're visiting "Grandma the 'Don'" around dinner time to see if she's doing...

Well, shortly after I arrived to the Haven, golems began attacking the keep where the orcs were at. Most of the townsmembers were out searching for something. I could hear the pounding on the walls, and the shouts of the orcs. I wondered if I should try to help them in someway, but the shouts got qu...

Slowly piecing things together Indira repsonds, "I do remember a group of people from before I was taken by Florin. There was a young man who smelled my hand, he was kind of wild looking. And there were some orcs. One healed me and the other got in the way of my magic. I accidentally melted his...

Well, that was yesterday. Wasn't it? I don't remember anything else, so it must have been. When closed my eyes I was on the table, and when I opened them I was here. When else could it have happened?

Puzzling out the odd manner of speech, Indira responds to Midnight, " I don't remember. I was on a wooden table of sorts, and I couldn't move. He said he couldn't finish until the golems came back with the rest. After that I don't remember..."
